Sometimes, in the twilight of our lives, we live to see a new sunrise.
I have always looked at our lives as a long, winding road with obstructions and distractions and decisions to be made along the way. We often travel it alone, but not always. And as we. traverse this road we are slowly watching as the day grows long and twilight begins to show itself, as those steps get slower and more labored and we don’t get over and around the obstacles as easily as we once did.
Still, sometimes when the twilight shows itself, we get a new chance at life, a new start on that road. Sometimes, when we least expect it, we get to witness a new, more exciting and invigorating sunrise in our lives. That is what I am experiencing now as I hit the mid to latter part of my life. A bright, shiny new day as the sun pushes back up into the sky to give me one more glimpse of happiness and love.
This blog is a way for me to explore, identify, examine, and share my steps on the road during this new sunrise. New ways of looking at things, understanding things, and trying to impact things. I’m excited for the journey. Won’t you walk with me a while?
